Finding Tomorrow...A Novella of Love and Deception
I love the mystery and the sensuality of these novels. A total winner for me, just what the doctor ordered. View all 25 comments. Deception is book 3 in the Infidelity Series. Betrayal and Cunning were the cocktails and appetizers, Deception is part of the main course. We are given more of the background of Nox and Charli and how their lives are somewhat connected. The way the author sprinkles the past throughout the story helps to brings the story full circle.
There are still so many who, what, hows and whys Deception starts right where Cunning stopped. It was an OMG moment so I was thrilled to be able to jump right in. This book is where Nox and Charli really begin to open up to one another. They both have shadows in their past that cloud over them. They believe and trust in one another and with that the walls that they have begin to come down. I loved seeing their relationship grow in this book. Oren's, Nox's father, past is revealed more in this book. The uncanny connection to the Montague Family and to Adelaide is brought to light.
The story's revelations of the past and the present is becoming a wild and bumpy ride in true Aleatha fashion. There is also a discovery that Adelaide finds that can forever change things for her and Alexandria except maybe someone has found out her discovery. As I have said, there are so many moving parts to the story- more hows, when, where and whys!!! Of course the ending I'm a little mixed about it as it was an Aleatha'd moment for sure!!! But one thing about this incredible author is that she is more than willing to listen to your worries. No matter your feelings, Aleatha Romig hears you out and talks you out of your strife.
The web that the author is spinning is highly addictive and divinely wicked. I need the next book now!!!!!!! Advanced copy given by the author in exchange for an honest review View all 31 comments. OMFG what the hell? My heart can't handle this Everything is so fucked up for Charli I need it right this fucking minute!!! Unpopular opinion time This book fed me up, it took me almost 3 weeks to read a pages book. I'm done with this series. A : Alexandria? B : Chelsea? C : Lennox? Drum roll, please. And the good answer was : Answer D , all of the above. At least they were interesting and Adelaide finally realizes that she has a head and that she can use it. It was refreshing. To be cl Unpopular opinion time This book fed me up, it took me almost 3 weeks to read a pages book. All the chemistry between Nox and Charli is gone, their dialogues are empty and very robotic, like they say what they are supposed to say but don't really put their heart in the conversation anymore.
And the storyline was soooo predictable. Alexandria acts like a complete idiot which is very OOC compared with how she used to be in Betrayal. Lennox is creepier than ever: he lies to her, hides things, overprotects her, molests her and it's okay for Alexandria, because her Lennox is perfect, and everything he touches is gold, Amen. I don't want to think about this book anymore, I don't want to waste more of my time because of it, so I'll stop this review full of disappointment here and I'll do my best to move on. Just when you start getting answers in the web of lies, new questions are formed. She gives you just enough information to wet your whistle, satisfying your curiosity and bam, like a freaking two by four between the eyes, Aleatha slams you back to reality.
One bonafide straight jacket for this intense five star read! Bring it on and do your worst! View all 24 comments. I loved how they talked things out but I was a bit surprised at the next part! Then things get really complicated and I'm a little disappointed in Nox We get a lot of background on Oren and Nox and I was shocked about the connection That would be a coup!
There's also a lot more on Adelaide. I just hate when characters are made out that way. And don't even get me started on Chelsea I'm going to withhold judgment on this one though until the next book because there has got to be more going on. I just knew with this being the third book out of five that all holy hell was going to break loose and I freakin' loved that cliffhanger! It was perfect! But for all those cliffhanger haters out there I'm betting on Nox and Oren! It is like a conditioning for a marathon.
There will be the excitement of the start This series has many elements and keeping them clear and concise is what makes Aleatha Romig's talent necessary. She has created this world with many, man 4. She has created this world with many, many, moving parts; players who may or may not be who they represent, a love interest whose life and family tree is roots deep in secretive endeavors and political chaos, and then there is our main gal We have had 2 entries in this series; each with the purpose to draw us in; woo us to want to know more and in this 3rd entry, Romig does the class story-telling of revealing, sharing and keeping entire funds of information separate from those who should know.
Serial story telling has a specific flow All of the bad guys are there All of it flows; all teases and makes us think beyond the written word Not to worry Or will I Now you don't Was it all smoke and mirrors What were the chances of these lives at play were manipulated Others pulling all the strings, hmmm It will take strength and courage to hold strong to feelings of new love For with the smoke and mirrors For more Reviews, Free E-books and Giveaways.

And so forth, Aleatha allowed readers like myself to read between the lines and given a big taste of what is to come. And of course, lots of secrets and lies are just waiting to be exposed. Curious as to what those secrets are and what is the big cliffhanger, well I guess the only way for you to find out is to read Deception.
Trust me, you will need to hold on tight because that ending has me on edge and begging for more. Aleatha Romig View 1 comment. Deception starts exactly where Cunning was stopped. Romig being brilliant as she is, she uses the last pages of Cunning as a prologue for Deception! The story is so full of secrets that I just start now to understand how more complicate and twisted everything is!
I love the world of this story! Although everything looks shinning and perfect, nothing is! Really fantastic! Of course there are so many events again that are happening in this part that I am seriously upset for the mo 4. Of course there are so many events again that are happening in this part that I am seriously upset for the most part of the book! Alexandria starts to understand better Nox and their relationship. She is standing better on her feet with his support and she knows how to get away from the Horror Mansion! Nox is trying to be honest with Alexandria.
He should have had more faith in her and their relationship in my eyes! Their relationship has changed and it feels sweetier! Their feelings for each other are really deep and sincere! So, I need to start reading the next part immediately! I cannot comprehend what exactly is happening for once again and how to proceed! Just that I really need to read the next one! View 2 comments. The lifestyles of the rich and famous, the plots, the twists, the good guys, the bad guys, the good guys turning bad, the bad guys turning good, the incestuousness of it all Aleatha Romig's "Deception" is on parr with all of that. Actually, scratch that, this book is way ahead. It's in a league of it's own.
Need more even. There are still so many questions. There are still so many parts of the puzzle missing and I'm desperate for everything to fit, to get the complete picture. Secrets weren't secrets unless they were hidden away. The minute I turned the first page of "Deception," I knew I was about to peel back a few more layers of a story that had turned into something so much bigger than just a journey of love.
This was a story about two families. It was a story about legacy and loyalty, wealth and duty and and if you're looking for shock value, this book is bursting at the seems with it. The sinister, underhanded activities, the lengths people would go to, to protect what they felt was rightfully theirs or what they felt they deserved. Each time I thought I had started to make some head way with the plot, each time I thought I had managed to untangle a few knots in that ever growing web of lies, deceit and double crossings, this author would throw something in that would make me stop dead in my reading tracks and do a double take.

Did I just read that right??? However, other times it was a comment from a character or a simple word and I know that had I not been giving this story my undivided attention, I may have missed it. So word of warning The plot continues to thicken in this latest instalment of the "Infidelity" Series and you really don't want to miss a thing.
Those things that we shared openly, that we talked, laughed and even cried about, couldn't hurt us because they were out there for the world to see. It was the things that were hidden, that we didn't share, that lurked in the shadows- those held the power to hurt, harm and even destroy. The various characters really knew how to test and challenge my thought processes. My views on how I felt about certain individuals continued to morph and change, some for the better, others most definitely for the worse but I think it was the addition of chapters told from the past and present from various POV's that really did help to tip the scales for me.

Those chapters were eye openers, helping provide rhyme and reason for actions and behaviours and really highlighting the fact that all was most definitely not as it seemed. My affections for the main characters continued to grow but it was Nox's behaviour that left me with an uncomfortable feeling.
He had promised never to lie to Alex which he didn't but was not telling her the whole truth or withholding information not just as bad? This was going to come back and bite him if not in this book, then the next and it was not going to be pretty. When would he learn!!! She filled me with a promise of something that I'd forgotten existed- a promise of more, of love, laughter and life. Yup, you got it, another doozer of a cliffy peeps. Would we expect anything less? This third instalment in the "Infidelity" series gets 4. Can I even tell you anything about this book?
Hell no, not unless I want to give stuff away. So here I go to try my best not to spoil the story. Deception starts off right where Cunning left off. Okay that's it, that is all I can tell you.
I'm joking, but I will say this there are so many twists and turns and just when I think I might have something figured out I don't. I love Nox and Charli so much.

I want Charli to have happiness, she deserves it but her step dad Alton has other plans for her. I can't wait for the next book to come out and hopefully we will have some answers. Last, but not least Aleatha Roming and her brilliant mind always amazes me. Her storylines and her writing blow me away every time. Jan 07, Grace rated it it was amazing. After three books in a five book series, I still have no idea where the story is leading.
This author has built a complex series with multiple possible outcomes. But there's only one outcome that matters to me. After the ending for this book, I'm nervous on all accounts but not for the reasons you may think. What can I tell you? So it surprised me how they changed, in a good way. But I reserve the right to change my mind. What transpires toward the end of this story broke my heart.
The title of this book was easy to understand, as there are multiple levels of deception. But he and Deloris keep other information from Charli in order to protect her feelings. The steps he takes to remain in control are conniving and heartless. And he seems to hold all of the cards right now. Of the three books, this one is my favorite so far. I'm terrified for several people and nearly threw my kindle at the end.
Yes, it has a big cliffhanger, and honestly, I've come to expect that from this series. I'm not happy about waiting until September for the next installment, but I'm excited that this author, after 3 books, has not only kept the story interesting and unpredictable, but has provided enough layers that I realize the next 2 books are necessary.
This is not one of those stories I can see being condensed. The author has clearly laid out a plot and every twist has a purpose. Jan 24, Michelle rated it it was amazing Shelves: bad-boys , strong-female , bdsm , favorite-books , hot-men , ceo , cliffy , series , suspense , alpha-male. What a book. This series just keeps getting better and better.
I can't get enough of it. I luv Charli and Nox so much my heart goes out to them. They are dealing with so much crap. I hate Alton so much I his character is just the worst. I'm totally sucked into this series. Charli is dealing with so much stuff again in the book. Life is just one big rollercoaster. There are so many ups and downs I don't know how she is dealing with it all. Her luv for Nox is getting stronger by the day even though there are still things that she needs to know.
But the trust they have together is so good. It's what is keeping them together and strong as a couple. Even though there are some many people trying to wreck what they have. Nox is amazing I just luv him so much. Finding out more about him as been great but heartbreaking. I'm liking that he is opening up more and showing Charli that he can be the guy she deserves.
Even though there are people that are goin to try and get and the way. He won't let Charli down she means so much to him. Even if them people will do there best to split them up. This series is just amazing. I was a lil bit worried that it was goin to stay dragging on part. But it hasn't one bit. I m still hooked to this series I can't get enough of it. There is still so much to find out on both Charli and Nox's side. But after the way this book ended I m getting a lil scared. I need the next book so much I m so so glad I don't have to wait.
Things have just turned even worst for Charli and Nox. I need to know what's goin to happen. I would highly recommend this book and series. I m so glad that I found this author and series. I m luving everything about it. View all 6 comments.

So Charli Alex and Nox are able to work things out and in doing so making their relationship stronger, hotter, and better, learning some of their past secrets while building a trustful relationship. However, it's never easy when you've got outside influences trying to force them apart.

I want the woman who takes my breath away on a daily basis". This one one is when you get a bit of back story from both Charli's mother and Nox's father, which at times leave you speechless as another twist unfolds in this brilliant series, throughout the series you feel the upmost hatred toward Adelaide, Charli's mother, and husband Alton Fitzgerard.
With his plans for Charli's plans to marry Bryce faltering he uses his trump card that leaves us on another edge of the seat cliffhanger. This series is like a perfect drama series, that has a bit of everything and each cliffhanger is better than the last, I just hope that what happened at the end doesn't come to fruition in Entrapment, which has me thinking "Don't wish away your today's thinking about tomorrow".
I literally cant help it because I want September to be tomorrow so I can be in Entrapment with Charli and Nox and the rest, in this amazing series that's a brilliant ride of Infidelity. I was given this book in return for my honest opinion. Deception Infidelity 3 by Aleatha Romig 4. It seems that as the rich get richer the lengths to which they will go to protect what they deem to be theirs just gets more and more sinister.
Just Deception Infidelity 3 by Aleatha Romig 4. Just when you think you have it all mastered Aleatha Romig inserts some key dialogue or a flashback and what you thought you knew is just gone in a puff of smoke. You need to be on your toes reading this book, you need to concentrate and really take in everything that Aleatha Romig slowly but cleverly divulges. Who is good? Who is bad? What are their motives? Is everyone who or what they seem? I know you have shadows, but in your shadows, mine feel less threatening.
Nox is in full blown protective mode and sometimes omission is just as good as a lie. However, these two are learning and growing together and with both of them opening up we understand Nox a lot better and also to some degree Charli. Hopefully these two will learn from their mistakes and become a well-oiled cohesive unit that will work as one. Together these two are formidable and are perfect for each other and I am desperately clinging to the hope that no matter what is chucked at them they will have the strength and belief in one and other to muddy through.
